For the New Year I wish you all the prosperity and dreams worth fighting for. In many Polish homes last year was a good year. It was a time when dreams could be realized, when there was a little more prosperity, when we felt a part of the Polish success and looked to the future with hope. Our home, the small one, where our loved ones are tidying up, and the big one, where we live together, need a good, caring and fair host. I wish you to feel proud hosts, respected, aware that you are understood and safe. I wish you a smile on passing faces and mutual understanding. We leave behind a year of difficult changes, big decisions, successes and sometimes mistakes, and open a chapter that we can write anew. I strongly believe that it depends on us what will appear on the still clean pages of 2020. It is us who can finally furnish our Polish home, fill it with tradition, values, wisdom, dignity and goodness. The year 2020 will be the year of great people and great events. We will remember John Paul II, Stanisław Żółkiewski, Andrzej Maksymilian Fredro, Roman Ingarden, Leopold Tyrmand, the Battle of Warsaw, Kłuszyn, the creation of Solidarity and many others.
