This Saturday, February 25th, another conference of the "Carpathian Europe" series will be held in Przemyśl. The co-organizers are the Carpathian Parliamentary Group of the Sejm and Senate of the Republic of Poland led by the Vice-Marshal of the Sejm, Marek Kuchciński, the President of the City of Przemysl, Robert Choma, the Mayor of Jaroslaw, Andrzej Wyczawski and the Association of Carpathian Euroregion Poland.
The conference is a continuation of meetings held last year in Przemyśl and Krynica-Zdrój as part of the parliamentary dimension of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The conference in the series "Carpathian Europe" is co-organized by Carpathian Parliamentary Group of the Sejm and Senate of the Republic of Poland led by the Deputy Speaker of the Sejm, Mr. Marek Kuchciński, as well as by the President of the City of Przemysl, Mr. Robert Choma, the Mayor of Jaroslaw, Mr. Andrzej Wyczawski and the Association of Carpathian Euroregion Poland.
This year's conference will focus on, among other things: European policy towards the Carpathians, civic and institutional initiatives in the Carpathian region, including examples of local government, academic and economic cooperation, as well as a comparison of experiences of the Alpine and Carpathian regions and an overview of cross-border media. The participation in the conference was confirmed, among others, by the Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Parliamentarians of the National Assembly of Hungary and professors, among others, from the Universities of Lviv, Chernivtsi and Podkarpackie in Ivano-Frankivsk.
The accompanying event is organized on February 26 in Przemyśl. II International Ski Tournament in Giant Slalom for Vice-Marshal of the Sejm Marek Kuchciński Cup.
The purpose of the competition is to promote active recreation, popularization of skiing, support of the activities of UKS "Śródmieście Przemyśl" and promotion of the attractive tourist region of the Carpathians.
