Congress Poland - The Great Project

During this year's edition of the Poland the Great Project congress, the Speaker of the Sejm Marek Kuchciński opened the vernissage of Andrzej Krauze's works and presented the "Courage and Credibility" medal.

On Saturday, Andrzej Krauze, a cartoonist, and his brother Antoni, a director, received the Lech Kaczyński Award. During the evening vernissage at the Kordegarda gallery, Marek Kuchciński emphasized that it was enough to consult a weekly magazine to see how subtly Andrzej Krauze comments on our reality.

- Mr. Andrew actually draws all of us, as his comments apply to each of us. He shows our greatness and smallness, he shows our pride and ridicule, but it is always true.

The Speaker of the Sejm also drew attention to the place where the exhibition was held. - We are on Krakowskie Przedmieście between the Cathedral, Plac Zamkowy, the Castle, the Dean's Academy and the University, so in a place where various attributes and symbols of Polish fine arts, our beautiful culture, are combined in an extremely strange and important way - he noted.

- Irena is a charismatic figure who can be found wherever freedom and democracy are important. I would like to thank Irena for this and the jury for awarding such a person who raises awareness in various places, not only in Central Europe, because we are also talking about Cuba and Asian countries or nations fighting for freedom in Asia. It awakens national awareness and shows that support, assistance and solidarity are the best ways to be a free man," said the Speaker of the Sejm.
