The reconstruction of a road which has been a dream for 20 years, i.e. the national road No. 28 on the section between Przemyśl and Medyka with the length of approx. 7 km, has been commenced. The contractor, Eurovia Polska S.A., will complete the task within 19 months, for nearly PLN 95 million. The planned works will ensure the proper load-bearing parameters of the road surface, improve traffic conditions and the safety of all users of the last unreconstructed section of the road leading to the border crossing Medyka-Szeginie.
- We don't just make declarations, we keep our word. We implement the policy of sustainable development, thanks to which new roads are built throughout the country. Today, reconstruction of national road no. 28 between Przemyśl and the border crossing in Medyka begins - said Andrzej Adamczyk, the Minister of Infrastructure.
