The harvest festival is an opportunity to thank and bow on behalf of the Sejm to the inhabitants of Podkarpacie, rural dwellers, farmers - for their hard work, for continuing the Polish traditions of our fathers and for building proud foundations of our state in the contemporary Europe - said the Speaker of the Sejm Marek Kuchciński during the 35th harvest festival of the Przemyśl Archdiocese in Jarosław.
Marek Kuchciński spoke about the importance of sticking to Christian values, which are the foundation of European civilization. He emphasized that today Poland is often ridiculed for this, but the majority of the Sejm and the government remain faithful to these values.
Harvest Festival, the feast of the village, is a beautiful old Polish ritual, deeply rooted in our tradition.
