Good change in Podkarpacie

During an exit meeting in Strachocina, the Law and Justice Parliamentary Club took firm steps to accelerate the development of Podkarpacie.

The party's program assumes a balanced and even development of Poland. It includes, above all:

- actions to increase communication accessibility of Podkarpacie by immediate implementation of road and railroad investments, e.g. Via Carpatia, development of communication links with Slovakia or border crossings with Ukraine,

- reconstruction and development of the oil and gas industry and refining,

- Agricultural development, especially in mountainous areas and improvements for family farms,

- rapid implementation of investments in the area of water management and flood protection with the construction of the Kąty Myscowa water reservoir,

- launch of sports and tourism infrastructure, especially in Bieszczady, and development of cultural activities and protection of our national heritage,

- Intensify work on the development of the Carpathians and international cooperation around the idea of making the region a strong tourist and cultural center in Europe.

Strachocina, where St. Andrew Bobola, the patron saint of Poland, was born, was visited by, among others, Marek Kuchcinski, Speaker of the Sejm, Chairman of the Law and Justice Party (PiS) and Deputy Speaker of the Sejm Ryszard Terlecki, Joachim Brudzinski, Deputy Speaker of the Sejm, and Jaroslaw Kaczynski, Chairman of the PiS party.

- PiS politicians have been meeting in Strachocin since 2005. Saint Andrzej Bobola is a patron who takes care of Poland's matters very well - hence our memory about him. And it is good that there are people in Poland who try to make him one of the most important Polish saints,' said the Speaker of the Sejm.

The parliamentarians also took part in a mass for the unity of the homeland.
