Zbigniew Kuchcinski, founder and president of the Society of Lovers of Lviv and Southern Borderlands
The Society has set as its main objectives:
- cultivate the historical, cultural, and scientific heritage of the Eastern Borderlands as an integral part of the tradition of the Republic of Poland,
- maintaining close ties with Compatriots in the East and Polish organizations,
- Providing broadly understood assistance to Poles living there, especially children, young people and the elderly and sick.
- The Przemyśl branch was also involved in collecting money on the border for the restoration of historical monuments
