Designed and built from scratch in the years 1937-1939, Stalowa Wola was one of the flagship investments of the flagship industrial undertaking of the Second Republic.
On February 5, 1937 the then deputy prime minister and minister of the treasury, Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski, at a meeting of the Budget Committee of the Sejm presented a plan for the construction of the Central Industrial District, which was the largest industrial undertaking of the Second Polish Republic.
