Dear Sirs,
thank you for the invitation to the solemn celebrations commemorating the 9th anniversary of the of the Smolensk tragedy and the 79th anniversary of the Katyn massacre.
Prayerful reverie uniquely unites of the faithful, phe commemoration reminds us of our common ideas and makes us think deeply about Our difficult history, as well as people who were united by concern for the good and devotion to patriotic values.
On this anniversary day we commemorate the late President of the Republic of Poland Professor Lech Kaczyński and his wife Maria and all the victims of the Smolensk catastrophe. More than usual we feel the void left by our friends and colleagues dear to our hearts. Their tragic death also makes us reflect on their achievements.
The legacy left by the late Lech Kaczynski is an inspiration for us, and at the same time an obligation towards the past, towards those who fought for freedom. With even greater respect we bow our heads before the victims of the Katyn Massacre - Poles murdered by the NKVD.
I would like to thank the organizers of the ceremonies in Gorlice for cultivating the memory of our heroes.
Z best regards
Marek Kuchciński
