The combined chambers of parliament, chaired by Sejm Speaker Marek Kuchcinski, listened to the address of the President of the Republic of Poland. The National Assembly on the 150th anniversary of Marshal Pilsudski's birth is the inauguration of the 100th anniversary of independence.

Today we inaugurate the celebration of a great festival of freedom. On the one hand, the 100th anniversary of Poland's independence will be an opportunity to reflect on the past, but on the other hand, I would also like it to be an important caesura. A moment of importance for our future, our path towards new times - said the president.
