MEMBER OF THE PARLIAMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF RP - DISTRICT 22

The parliament of the current term has record high ratings

Sitting of the Diet on July 17, 2019

As many as 32 percent of those surveyed by CBOS positively evaluate the work of the Sejm (17 percent in the same month of 2015). July is the month in which one of Law and Justice's flagship programs, namely 500 plus for every child, begins. In July, 20 laws have already been adopted, including those on the abolition of PIT for young people up to the age of 26 or on support for borrowers in difficult financial situations, and the Sejm received a draft on 500 PLN for people with disabilities and reducing PIT from 18 to 17 percent. The positive reception of the Lower House may also be influenced by the special remembrance of historical events. The Sejm has recently organized celebrations of the 450th anniversary of the Polish-Lithuanian Union in Lublin. The foreign policy determined by the Speaker of the Sejm, in which parliamentary diplomacy stands out more and more clearly and successfully (June's summit of the presidents of the parliaments of Central and Eastern Europe in Warsaw), may also be of significance. The activities of the Sejm also contribute to the increased importance of the Visegrad Group in the international arena.

Law and Justice has successfully implemented, among other things:
