MEP Kuchciński intervenes on the condition of railroads in Podkarpacie

Dworzec PrzemyslMarek Kuchciński, MP, addressed the Minister of Infrastructure to intervene in connection with the constantly deteriorating condition of railroads in Podkarpacie. The Deputy Speaker submitted the following postulates - questions to the Minister:

- allocation of additional funds for further renovation of the Rzeszów - Przemyśl railroad line;

- extension of train service on the line Stróże - Biecz to Jasło as an opportunity to use a convenient form of transport for the residents of Skołyszyn and Przysieki;

- Restoring international trains on the Jasło - Zagórz - Chyrów section;

- use of funds from the Regional Operational Program for modernization of the railroad line Rzeszów - Jaslo and for further repair of the track Jaslo - Zagórz.

MP Kuchcinski further added in his intervention: "Any changes made to the railroads should serve to improve the services provided. Economic and structural transformation in Podkarpacie also depends on the condition of the railroads. The measures taken should lead to an improvement in the situation of railroads, and not - as is currently the case - to their further degradation.
