Summary of the last day of the 59th Sejm session

On the fourth day of its 59th session, the Sejm amended the Hunting Law. Banning children from taking part in hunting, training hunting dogs on live animals, and banning hunting in national parks were among the amendments passed.

Deputies approved a draft of the so-called degradation bill, under which it will be possible to deprive members of the Military Council for National Salvation (WRON), headed by communist generals Wojciech Jaruzelski and Czeslaw Kiszczak, of their officer or non-commissioned officer ranks.

The Sejm has passed a presidential bill to establish a National Day of Remembrance for Poles who saved Jews during World War II. Their memory will be honored on March 24.

Members of the judges of the National Judicial Council were also elected, from among candidates put forward by PiS and Kukiz '15. The other clubs did not put forward candidates.

MPs have passed the Business Constitution, dubbed the biggest reform of economic law in 30 years. It is expected to free Polish entrepreneurship and will be the foundation for all other pro-entrepreneurial activities of the government.
