A post-election meeting of the Podkarpackie Regional Council of Law and Justice was held on Monday, October 17. During the meeting the following issues were summarizedelection results in Subcarpathia. In constituency nr 22 (Przemysl and Krosno Territory) PiS achieved the best result in the country, gaining 44,73 % voters, i.e. 133,320 of their votes. Law and Justice thus overtook Civic Platform here by a huge number of votes, i.e. nearly 60000. PiS also won all the Senate seats in Podkarpacie. The new senators were: Janina Sagatowska, Alicja Zając, Kazimierz Jaworski, Andrzej Matusiewicz and Władysław Ortyl.
