kolobrzegnafali.pl: MPs kept their word. There is still a chance to save the public school in Dąbki

Czeslaw Hoc, MP for the Law and Justice party (PiS) from Kołobrzeg, and Marek Gróbarczyk, MP for the Law and Justice party (PiS) together with the parents of students from the School Complex in Dąbki have joined forces to fight to save the public school, which the aldermen of the Darłowo Borough Council have decided to close down.

Parliamentarians have kept their word to the protesting parents and moved the Polish Sejm in defense of the school. According to the announcements made by Marek Kuchciński, Vice-Marshall of the Sejm, Marek Gróbarczyk, MEP, and Czesław Hoc, MP, who on April 21, 2013 visited the starving women at the Darłowo Commune Office, on May 10, 2013 (Friday) at 10:00 a.m. a meeting of the Committee on Local Self-Government and Regional Policy, convened pursuant to Rule 152(2) of the Rules of Procedure of the Sejm, will be held in the Sejm.

"The issue of the liquidation of schools by local government units, on the example of the liquidation of the School Complex in Dąbki by the municipality of Darłowo - presented by the Minister of National Education." The extraordinary meeting of the Commission was convened at the request of the Law and Justice deputies (i.e. 1/3 of the Commission's personal composition). At this meeting the Law and Justice MPs will also inform about their bill on the organization of education, in which, among other things, they will restore the proper pedagogical supervision to the education superintendents (whose opinion on the possible liquidation of educational institutions will be binding).
