The Speaker of the Sejm Marek Kuchciński inaugurated the nationwide social campaign We Have Independence! organized by the Józef Piłsudski Family Foundation and the Józef Piłsudski Museum in Sulejówek. Since the first edition of the campaign, Poczta Polska SA has been the strategic partner.

The campaign consists in joyful celebration of successive anniversaries of regaining independence by Poland. Every year we invite Poles to send their relatives free postcards and e-cards with wishes from National Independence Day. An inseparable element of Mom Niepodległa! are outstanding artists who design postcards: Tomasz Bereźnicki, Emilia Dziubak, Anna Marjańska, Katarzyna Bakuła, Henryk Jerzy Chmielewski (Papcio Chmiel), Andrzej Heidrich, Jan Konarzewski, Piotr Młodożeniec, Andrzej Pągowski, Henryk Sawka, Marek Sayan Skwarski and Józef Wilkoń.

Thanks to the involvement of, among others, schools, offices and cultural institutions throughout Poland, the date of November 1st as a day of national holiday celebration is strengthened and consolidated in the popular awareness by promoting a joyful and attractive form of celebrating the Independence Day and affirming social activities which trigger positive social energy. We Have Independence! has an impact on nurturing local identity and shaping patriotic and civic attitudes.

Over several years, the action has become a permanent part of the National Independence Day celebrations for many schools, offices and cultural institutions throughout Poland. Artists designing the cards and numerous local communities are actively involved in promoting We Have Independence!
