The lonely rock, shaped like a monk in a hood, is a must-see point on the map of ski touring routes. The team composed of the Speaker of the Sejm Marek Kuchci\u0144ski, the Head of the Tatra Province Piotr Bak and the Director of TPN Szymon Ziobrowski remember Sunday's trip as one of the most beautiful, classic Tatra ski tours. They went up from the Morskie Oko Lake, through Mnichowa P\u0142a\u015b\u00f1 to the threshold of Dolinka za Mnichem. From there, by Dolinka za Mnichem to Mnichowe Plecy (the \"base\" of the famous Mnich, 2068 m).<\/p>\n

Descent in excellent snow conditions (powder snow) to the threshold of Dolinka za Mnichem, then over Nadspady valley to Zielony Piarg (Green Scree) and the finish on the surface of the Morskie Oko Lake. The culminating point is a visit to Ms Maria \u0141api\u0144ska in the shelter at the Morskie Oko Lake.<\/p>\n
