At that time it was one of the first ambulance stations in Poland (in pre-war Poland, in the former Lvov Voivodeship, after Lviv it was the second, and together with Tarn\u00f3w, the sixth in the country). Today it is the oldest medical emergency service in the Podkarpacie Province, currently operating at the Regional Hospital in Przemy\u015bl.<br \/>\nThus, in September we will celebrate the 105th Anniversary of this esteemed and much deserved institution for the society.<br \/>\nAs in the case of other towns, its creation was influenced by a number of tragic events, such as: the train crash in Medyka near Przemy\u015bl on May 4, 1911, which occurred after a collision between train no. 70, coming from Przemy\u015bl and train no. 170, coming from Mo\u015bcisko.
