The investments will increase the capacity of the agglomeration railroad, and the inhabitants will gain better access to the capital of the region. Implementation of tasks under the so-called Eastern Main Line will better connect Rzesz\u00f3w with other voivodships. Modernisation of border crossings will facilitate transport of goods between Poland and its eastern neighbors.<\/div>\n<div>The modernization of the E30 line between Krakow and Rzeszow is an important investment of the PKP PLK in the Podkarpacie region. On this route, trains can travel at 160 km\/h, travel time has already been shortened by more than an hour, and travelers can use new platforms with a passenger information system. In 2016-2017, PLK will complete the modernisation of the E30 line between Ropczyce and S\u0119dzisz\u00f3w, and by 2018 travellers will be able to enjoy even better travelling conditions and better connections between Rzesz\u00f3w and the state border.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/marekkuchcinski.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/maps.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4322\" src=\"https:\/\/marekkuchcinski.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/maps.jpg\" alt=\"maps\" width=\"974\" height=\"731\" srcset=\"https:\/\/marekkuchcinski.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/maps.jpg 974w, https:\/\/marekkuchcinski.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/maps-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/marekkuchcinski.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/maps-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 974px) 100vw, 974px\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div><em>Photo: ms, Rynek-Kolejowy.pl<\/em><\/p>\n<p><b>Faster on trunk and local lines<br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\n- Passengers will travel more comfortably between Rzesz\u00f3w and Ocice, on the route Debica - Padew, Boguchwa\u0142a - Czudec, Jas\u0142o - Nowy Zag\u00f3rz, and on line E30 from Krak\u00f3w to Rzesz\u00f3w. The modernized station in Rzesz\u00f3w will create comfortable service conditions in the capital of the region. Thanks to investments within the Eastern Main Line, Podkarpacie will also gain more convenient connections with voivodeship cities - said Ireneusz Merchel, president of PKP PLK<\/p>\n<p>For the residents of the voivodship and those travelling by train in the region, the work will result in shorter journeys and better service at stations and stops. Travel time between Rzesz\u00f3w and Krosno will be shortened by approximately 40 minutes (from approximately 2 hours to approximately 1h 20 min). Journeys from Rzesz\u00f3w to Przemy\u015bl will be shorter by approximately 25 minutes. Thanks to the revitalisation of the line no. 108 on the Jas\u0142o - Nowy Zag\u00f3rz section, the train journey from Jas\u0142o to Nowy Zag\u00f3rz will be shorter by approximately 20 minutes. The fastest trains between Rzesz\u00f3w and Krak\u00f3w will take about 1h 45 min (currently over 2h). Modernisation of the railroad network and shortening of the travel time on the Lublin - Stalowa Wola section will allow better connections from Lublin to Rzesz\u00f3w - shortening the travel time by about 20 minutes. Thanks to electrification of sections Lublin - Stalowa Wola and Ocice - Rzesz\u00f3w it will be possible to run electric trains.<\/p>\n<p><b>The most important railroad projects for Podkarpacie<br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\n- The railroad in Podkarpacie is becoming more and more popular. Investments implemented by PKP PLK. will affect the attractiveness of the region, providing greater opportunities for economic development and more favourable conditions for the development of tourism. The modernized and new railroad infrastructure will allow for the creation of a real alternative to cars and the construction of integrated transfer centers,\" said Witold Lechowski, Deputy Governor of Podkarpackie.<\/p>\n<p>On the territory of Podkarpackie voivodeship the works will be conducted on railroad lines: Lublin - Stalowa Wola Rozwad\u00f3w, Stalowa Wola - Tarnobrzeg\/Sandomierz - Ocice\/Padew and Ocice - Rzesz\u00f3w. The National Railway Programme in the Podkarpackie Region provides for the implementation of 12 projects worth almost PLN 1.5 billion on the basic lists.
