Launched at 7.00 in the morning, the check-in applies to heavy goods vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of over 7.5 tonnes, moving unladen. The check-in will be carried out 24\/7 in both directions based on temporary infrastructure located on both the Polish and Ukrainian sides. The possibility of crossing the border in this place does not include empty, uncleaned tanks intended for the transport of hazardous materials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;In mid-January, an annex to the contract was signed in Przemy\u015bl, which guarantees shortening of the construction time and earlier commissioning of the full crossing infrastructure. Its commissioning will take place in the first quarter of 2024. The progress of works as of today is 30%. The border crossing under construction is intended for international passenger and goods traffic, by means of transport with a maximum total weight of up to 3.5 t, excluding pedestrian traffic. An intergovernmental agreement on the establishment of a road border crossing Malhowice - Ni\u017cankowice was concluded by way of an exchange of diplomatic notes in 2012. In 2017-2018, construction and executive design documentation was developed. At the end of 2019, the Minister of Finance assured about securing funds to finance the task. In the tender procedure announced in December 2020, Strabag Sp. z o. o., with whom the contract was signed on August 18, 2021. The cost of the investment amounted to PLN 98 million, and its implementation was to take 45 months. The ceremonial laying of the cornerstone for the construction of DPG Malhowice took place on September 3, 2021. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ceremony was attended by, among others, representatives of the government, local authorities, uniformed services and contractors. In the same month, a construction site enabling the execution of construction works was handed over. Archaeological works, due to the significant expansion of archaeological sites by the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Conservator of Monuments, resulted in an increase in the value of the contract to PLN 100,895,346.51. 378.5 ares were surveyed, out of the originally planned 65 ares. After completing the archaeological works, the general contractor proceeded to perform construction works in the full scope of the works front. On December 28, 2022, by decision of the Minister of Finance, the limit of budget funds was increased, enabling the correction of the material and financial schedule of the task and accelerating the deadline for its implementation and commissioning. This is due to the war situation in Ukraine and the related need to clear and increase the capacity of the existing border crossings with Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image
