Poles and Hungarians were connected by a great bridge of solidarity and help. Poles treated the heroic fight of Hungarians as their own', the Speaker of the Seym Marek Kuchci\u0144ski said in Budapest at the beginning of his term. If we look closely at the common history of our countries, we will see how true these words are. Two seemingly different nations have been intertwined for centuries with an inseparable and unusual bond that makes one not hesitate to sacrifice everything for the other.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On 12 March 2007, the Hungarian Parliament adopted a declaration recognising 23 March as Polish-Hungarian Friendship Day. It was supported by 324 MPs, no one abstained and no one was against. A similar resolution was adopted by the Polish Sejm by acclamation on 16 March 2007.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
