The monument contains urns with soil from battlefields, including World War I.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>September 16 is the anniversary of the martyrdom of St. Andrew Bobola. The priest was born in Strachocina, and since 2002 he has been the patron saint of Poland. - Today we have come to Strachocina, the land of Sanok, to the place connected with the martyr and patron of our independence, St. Andrew Bobola. We have come to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Poland's rebirth', said the Speaker of the Sejm. - Today, in this place, we unveiled a monument dedicated to the independence of the Republic of Poland.
