In Ustrzyki Dolne about investment plans for the Bieszczady Mountains

Marek Kuchciński took part in the meeting of the Board of Bieszczady Poviat and then he met with the self-governmental representatives of Lesko and Sanok Poviats and communes of Ustrzyki Dolne, Cisna, Olszanica, Bircza, Zagórz, Czarna, Komańcza, Bukowsko, Tyrawa Wołoska. The main objective of the discussions was the sustainable development of the Bieszczady Mountains and the best use of funds under the Polish Order.

- The funds will reach not only the Solina river and mountain areas. We are also thinking about supporting the cooperation of border communes with Slovakia and Ukraine and developing tourism there - emphasized Marshal Kuchciński.

The most urgent needs of Bieszczady are modernization and development of infrastructure, which will translate into better communication, accessibility and development of tourism. Investment plans and Bieszczady Heritage Centre "Green Refinery FANTO" in Ustrzyki Dolne were also discussed.

Bieszczady is one of the most beautiful places in Poland, but the most distant from central and regional centers. . The area has exceptional tourist values, and much of it is under various forms of nature protection. Activities aimed at economic growth and improving the quality of life of the inhabitants must take into account the resulting necessary restrictions.

The meetings were attended, among others, by the Deputy Marshal of Podkarpackie Voivodship Piotr Pilch and the Bieszczady Starost Marek Andruch.
