The list includes 91 investments, of which 64 are municipal projects and the remaining 27 are county projects. The road investments that will receive funding under the government program, must be implemented in 2017. In this edition of the program Podkarpacie has almost 63 million PLN to distribute. Half of this amount will be spent on municipal investments, half on county roads.

Under the program, a municipality, including a city with county rights, could submit only one application for funding, while a rural county could submit no more than two. Local governments could apply for a grant of up to 50 percent of the cost of road investments planned for 2017, but no more than PLN 3 million. Under the program, investments such as construction, reconstruction, renovation of a district or commune road can be made.

The list of communal investments includes, among others, rebuilding of Zalesie-Stare Sioło road in Oleszyce commune and repairing Hyżne-Brzezówka-Borek Stary road in Hyżne commune. In total, over 72 kilometers of community roads will be renovated under the program.

Whereas among the district investments there are i.a. reconstruction of the road Szczutków- Wielkie Oczy - state border in the district of Lubaczów and extension of Jana Pawła II street in Rzeszów. In total the districts will rebuild over 75 km of roads.

The Podkarpacie region will receive more than PLN 69 million each year under the "Program for the development of municipal and county road infrastructure for 2016-2019" in the last two years of the program. Nationally, the program's budget in 2016-2019 is expected to be PLN 4 billion.

In the years 2009-2015, a total of over 1.1 thousand km of local roads were rebuilt and repaired in the region. The local governments of Podkarpacie received funding from the state budget of more than 320 million PLN for the implementation of the tasks.
