National Day of Remembrance of the Disabled Soldiers

Mr.

Daniel Krawiec

Head of Przeworsk Municipality

Dear Mr. Mayor,

I would like to express my gratitude to the organizers of the ceremony commemorating Father Dean Antoni Olejarka and Captain Stanislaw Olejarka alias "Oko".

The brothers' biography evokes the memory of those who fought for the freedom and independence of their homeland. They had to face the totalitarian systems and the introduced machine of lawlessness and violence. For them, sovereign Poland was the greatest good, and they were ready to sacrifice their health and lives for it. Because the communist regime not only deprived Poles of their independence, but also tried to impose the communist ideology. The ideology without God, Christian and patriotic values.

I am convinced that the celebrations in Grzeska commemorating Father Antoni Olejarka and his brother Stanisław will become a beautiful lesson of history and at the same time a source of reflection on our difficult road to freedom.

I would like to express my appreciation to the people who spread historical knowledge, especially about our region. I am glad that young people will actively participate in the celebration of the National Day of Remembrance of the Classified Soldiers.

I bow down before the heroes of the struggle for free and independent Poland

Best regards
