Reverend Pastor, Dear Mr. President,

I would like to thank you for the invitation to the unique ceremony - consecration and opening of the first in Poland Parish Photovoltaic Installation. I received the information about the use of innovative forms of energy in Iskrzynia with interest and joy.

I would like to express my great appreciation to the initiators and all the people who contributed to the realization of this project. This is an extremely important project not only in ecological but also in social and community terms.

In his teaching, Saint John Paul II devoted much attention to the issue of protecting the natural and human environment. He showed that these two dimensions are not mutually exclusive, but are equally important and complementary. He repeatedly pointed out that caring for nature is the responsibility of all people, because the progressive degradation and pollution of the soil, water, air bring the same negative consequences for the inhabitants of the Earth. He strongly encouraged to undertake common actions which will contribute to stop the process of destruction of the natural wealth.

The project of parish photovoltaic installations is part of the message of St. John Paul II, and its implementation in Iskrzynia is an expression of responsibility and care of the entire local community for the preservation of natural heritage. I am convinced that the photovoltaic installation will contribute both to the development of Iskrzyn, as well as strengthen community ties.

I send my warm greetings and join you in expressing my respect.
